“Sprite” is the exception to Skip's 2004 get--not in quality, but in color and sex. She is the only one of his offspring that isn't sorrel and isn't male. Despite being the only girl in this bunch of boys, she holds her own quite nicely. When she was born she was rather frail and gangly looking, but this spring she has shocked us all with the way she has filled out. She is a superb looking filly. She has that great grulla color, just like her mamma, and we except her to be quick and eat cows just as her mamma does.
