Cattle At the Broken Bar M Ranch, we raise registered Beefmaster and registered Shorthorn cattle. We also maintain a commercial herd of Hereford/Simmental crosses. One of our long-term goals is to use these three herds in conjunction with each other not only to continue improving our commercial herd and the bulls and replacement females that come out of it, but also to produce superior purebred bulls and replacement females. Our main goal is to offer cattle that will consistently put excellent beef on the table but are easy keepers in all aspects, including feeding, breeding, and handling.
